Studio 42 is based on the Yorkshire, Lancashire border and is home to artist Michelle Hodgson. Michelle draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, creating original illustrations the wildlife and fauna that surround her. Working from original drawings she creates her own unique style of prints which are a combination of Gelli plate monoprints, using her own linocuts to create texture, and hand painted collaged linoprints. Michelle also creates unique festive decorations based on her linoprints.
